NEW YORK–Allied Domecq has awarded its estimated $15 million Sauza Tequila account to dRush.

The win comes after a competitive review that included Modernista! in Boston, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco and Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, and one undisclosed agency, sources said. The incumbent, Bates Worldwide in New York, did not defend.

A client representative declined to confirm the contenders.

In a statement, Avery Schmeisser, marketing director for Sauza, said dRush was chosen “because of its demonstrated ability to create relevant, impactful marketing communications platforms that integrate brands into popular culture.”
