LOS ANGELES Santa Barbara City College is searching for an agency to develop a statewide financial aid campaign for the community college system.

Billings for the one-year contract are roughly $3.5 million. The contract may be extended for up to three additional years, according to the request for proposal.

The client in Santa Barbara, Calif., has solicited proposals from public relations and marketing firms. The goal of the campaign will be to communicate to prospective low-income students and their families that “the California Community Colleges remain affordable” and “financial aid is available to cover enrollment fees and help with books and other costs,” the RFP states.
