NEW YORK JWT has expanded the role of executive vice president Marian Salzman to include management of multi-national and global pitches, the WPP Group shop said.

Salzman, who joined the agency last May in the global role of director of strategic content, will now be chief marketing officer, also a global post. She continues to be based in New York and report to worldwide CEO Bob Jeffrey.

The new business duties are in addition to Salzman’s previous responsibilities, which include developing and disseminating consumer insights and overseeing corporate communications.
