Scott Gilbert, co-CEO of Saatchi & Saachi’s $3 billion New York office, is retiring by year’s end, and the Publicis agency is talking to outside candidates as it seeks a replacement, sources said. Gilbert, 50, has run New York operations with co-CEO Mike Burns since January. In May 2003, Gilbert moved east from the shop’s Torrance, Calif., office, where he had been CEO.
