Hoffman/Lewis hit a home run last week when it was awarded the San Francisco Giants' estimated $1 million advertising account. It was the San Francisco-based agency's third new business win in six months.
Agency principal Roger Lewis said his office is "filled with Giants fans."
"Our challenge now is to get people out to the stadium," said agency general manager Josh Nichol. "Everyone's a casual baseball fan, but we have to play on the Giants' electricity to get these moderate fans really excited."
"Hoffman/Lewis has the creative force and energy we are seeking," said Mario Alioto, the client's vice president of marketing and sales.
New work will be launched for the team in March.
The agency's other recent account wins are Rodney Strong Vineyards and Vivus. --Jane Irene Kelly
