The Holsomback Group, a Fort Worth, Texas, public relations firm, has been fielding a lot of calls–many of them misdirected–since moving to new quarters in May.
Owner Barbara Holsomback said it was not long after she relocated her office and changed her telephone number that she noticed a growing number of callers miffed that they had reached the wrong person.
After querying one misguided dialer, Holsomback learned her new number was the old listing for former Texas Rangers pitcher Jose Guzman.
“After awhile, I figured a good public relations person should be able to use this to her advantage,” Holsomback said.
True to form, Holsomback said she may make a small change on her business cards–a brief note pointing out the former claim to fame of her new listing.
