BOSTON Re:Think Group this week launches a TV campaign for Tribune Co.'s Southern Connecticut Newspaper holdings tagged "Don't miss a day. Don't miss a thing."
The Stamford, Conn., independent shop incorporates typed supers in an attempt to make the spots "feel like printed stories unfolding," said agency co-founder James Offenhartz. A trio of spots focuses on the newspapers' coverage of local sports, business and community events. Suzanne Luna of Hyena Films in New York directed the ads.
Spots promote the newly launched Norwalk Advocate, as well as the existing Greenwich Time and Stamford Advocate. Spending is estimated in the mid six figures.
The media schedule includes cable networks such as CNBC, CNN, ESPN, Fox News, MSNBC and elsewhere. The ads will air into mid-summer.
