Retail Pros Join Ryan Partnership in Arkansas

DALLAS Ryan Partnership has installed two executives to manage its newly relocated office space known as Ryan Retail Zone, the agency said.

The Bentonville, Ark., independent named Bill Sloan and Melissa Berryhill vp/general manager and managing director, respectively. Sloan and Berryhill will oversee the shop's larger quarters, now in nearby Rogers, Ark. Additional staff is expected to be hired this fall.

Sloan arrives from General Mills, where he served as promotion marketing manager and supported the firm's consumer brands at Wal-Mart. Berryhill most recently was senior manager in corporate communications, marketing and merchandise for Wal-Mart in Bentonville.

"Bill and Melissa bring ideal backgrounds on the brand and retail side and deep experience with the nation's leading retailer," said Bill Sinnott, group president at Ryan Partnership. "These additions, an expansion of our services and our need for larger offices will help us meet the needs of this marketplace."

The agency said it expanded capabilities in strategic development, program oversight, research and measurement and on-site creative services.

Headquartered in Wilton, Conn., Ryan Partnership has offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Toronto. Clients include Unilever, Energizer, Heineken, Bank One, Nestle Waters North America, Subway and Stanley Tool.
