ATLANTA The Republik has won the advertising account to introduce a new cultural heritage and tourism program for the Fayetteville (N.C.) Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the agency said.

The Durham, N.C., shop was one of eight that competed for the account during a three-month review earlier this year. There was no incumbent. Hodges Associates of Fayetteville, N.C., which handles all of the FACVB’s other advertising work, also competed for the new account.

Billings were not disclosed, but the FACVB will spend less than $500,000 on the campaign, sources said.
