The Brownstein Group in Philadelphia can — thanks to the addition in January of Emily deRiel as an account executive. After getting a bachelor’s degree at Yale and a master’s at Oxford, both in English, the Philadelphia native competed in the pentathlon at the Sydney Olympics. The five-sport race comprises shooting, horseback riding and jumping, running, swimming and fencing.
Always a competitive swimmer, deRiel got into pentathlons, a primarily European sport, at Yale.
