Recreational Equipment Inc. has ended its relationship with Sedgwick Rd. and turned to its previous agency, Copacino, for advertising support.

Sedgwick Rd. in Seattle had worked with the outdoor-sporting-goods retailer for two years, picking up creative duties in December 2000 and media in January 2002. The client spends about $10 million annually on measured media, according to CMR.

The account shift follows the recent departure of REI svp of marketing Jim Poppens. Atsuko Tamura, who has been REI’s vp of finance, is the interim head of marketing.
