NEW YORK WPP Group’s Red Cell said it is opening an agency in Argentina, its first office in Latin America, with two executives who are leaving Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson.

Dylan Williams and Martin Mercado will be general manager and general creative director, respectively, of WM/Red Cell in Buenos Aires, effective by the end of the summer.

Williams, 49, and Mercado, 35, held similar titles at McCann in that city, working on accounts that included Coca-Cola, GM, Nestle, MasterCard, Nextel, Purina and Adidas.
