PriceWeber Adds Brown-Forman Brand
PriceWeber has acquired the estimated $7 million advertising account of Canadian Mist whiskey. The Louisville, Ky.-based agency already handles marketing duties for other Brown-Forman labels such as
Usher’s Scotch, Finlandia vodkas and Bolla wines.

ALL FIRED UP
The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is hearing anti-tobacco pitches from nine finalists this week. Five Baltimore shops, Dan Rosenthal Group in Bethesda, Md., Arnold in McLean, Va., and two undisclosed contenders are pursuing the account.

YE OLDE AD SHOPPES
The 18th century meets the 21st century at Colonial Williamsburg. The Virginia attraction has hired Yesawich, Pep-perdine & Brown of Orlando, Fla., as its media and account management agency. YP&B sister shop Earle Palmer Brown in Bethesda, Md., was assigned creative.

RUBBER MATCH
Erwin-Penland has secured its first national consumer brand. The Greenville agency topped three other South Carolina shops, including Leslie Advertising and Brains on Fire, for the account of Uniroyal’s Nail Guard and Tiger Paw tires. Billings were not disclosed.

RIDING THE RAILS
The GodwinGroup in Jackson, Miss., has been awarded advertising and promotional duties for two of Amtrak’s most famous trains: the City of New Orleans and the Crescent.
