RDW Group has hired James Franz as technical director for its interactive services group. In this new position at the independent agency in Providence, R.I., Franz will be responsible for the design and implementation of all agency Web projects. For the past two years, Franz held a similar post at Benes Brand Imaging, a marketing agency in Lexington, Mass. Prior to that, he was a senior developer at Mindseye Technology of Boston.
