BOSTON Independent RDW Group said it has added Bank Rhode Island for advertising and public relations following a review of undisclosed shops.

The client spent close to $1 million on ads last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR. The bank, with more than $1.2 billion in total assets, had recently worked with The Link Agency, an independent shop in Providence, R.I.

“We have a very aggressive plan for 2005,” said Marie van Luling, the bank’s svp of marketing and corporate communications.
