DALLAS Razor Competitive Edge has split with Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, for which it handled strategic planning duties.

Razor’s responsibilities will be absorbed by independent Fogarty Klein Monroe of Houston, which serves as the client’s lead creative shop. Popeyes, based in Atlanta, spent $35 million in 2005 measured media, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Razor, located in Addison, Texas, worked with Popeyes’ corporate headquarters and franchisees for two years in an effort to improve overall media efficiency and help transform the brand’s regional approach into a national marketing strategy.
