Cronin & Co. last week shared the limelight with Murphy Brown. A public service announcement created by the Glastonbury, Conn.-based agency appeared on an episode where the CBS show’s lead character (shown) is diagnosed with breast cancer.
Cronin’s 30-second spot, titled “Victims,” was originally created for the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection program. The spot targets uninsured and underinsured women and features actress Meryl Streep’s narration as well as the haunting strains of Gershwin’s “You Can’t Take That Away From Me.”
