Publicis in Indianapolis’ financial-marketing experience helped it prevail in a review for Old National Bank’s advertising business.

The agency bested two other finalists, in cumbent Keller Crescent, Evansville, Ind., and Caldwell VanRiper/ Marc, Indianapolis, said Lori Danielson, vice president of corporate marketing at the Evans ville bank holding company.

Media expenditures were not disclosed.

The client, which has expanded its services by acquiring smaller community banks in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio, wanted to consolidate its account at one marketing firm.

In addition to Keller Crescent, which has worked with the bank for 30 years, Old National employed various shops for different services such as direct marketing.

“Since we branched out over the last several years, we thought it was the right time to place all of our services at one agency,” Danielson said.

A branding campaign for Old National is set for a fall launch, said Tom Hirschauer, Publicis’ president.
