Saatchi’s Seelert to Make $16 Mil.; Roberts in Line for $12 Mil.
NEW YORK–Publicis’ $1.9 billion stock deal for Saatchi & Saatchi is set to create a group of multimillionaires among Saatchi’s senior managers.
The acquisition triggers share options for nearly 100 Saatchi senior executives. Thirty-five managers will receive an amount totaling $89 million, at the offer price of $7.56 a share, ringing up an average payday of $2.6 million for each.
Saatchi chairman Bob Seelert stands to gain shares worth nearly $16 million.
