DaimlerChrysler is expanding its PT Cruiser lineup with two specialty versions planned for the coming model year.

The new models, including a version of the classic “Woodie,” will be included in advertising from PentaMark that is set to break next month, a Chrysler Group representative said.

The PT Cruiser has been in such short supply that the automaker stopped running TV spots created by FCB, which formerly held the automaker’s account.

Along with adding new versions, the company has increased production on the original model for a second time.

The 2002 versions of the unique vehicle are the PT Dream Cruiser Series 1 and the Chrysler PT Cruiser Woodie edition.
