Ackermann PR haspurchased local public relations agency PRTek.
The Knoxville, Tenn.-basedAckermann gains PRTek’s staff of four full-time and 11contract workers. Added to Ackermann’s existing Dallas office, the group will serve as a Southwest hub with clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Houston, San Antonio and Austin, Texas.
PRTek, whose major client is VHB Technologies of Dallas, has focused on emerging and midsize technology companies since its inception in 1994. Like other agencies specializing in the tech sector, PRTek has seen its revenue decline significantly this year.
