First Work Due in June for Real Estate Site
LOS ANGELES--DDB has picked up the estimated $10 million advertising account of PropertyFirst, a new online commercial real estate marketplace. The agency will launch a business-to-business campaign for the client in June.
PropertyFirst selected the Los Angeles agency from a field of five West Coast finalists, said John Stanfill, president/CEO of the Alhambra, Calif.-based company. He did not disclose the other contenders.
Select Resources International, Los Angeles, helped with the search.
"We had a [five-person] task force involved in the selection, and DDB was the one agency they unanimously coalesced around as bringing the best combination of creativity, direct marketing experience, energy, understanding of our product and space and credibility in the industry," Stanfill said.
DDB president Rick Carpenter said the agency is excited about working with a dot.com that is not just a technology company but understands the commercial real estate business.
"What they are building is a solution to help the commercial real estate business create efficiencies," Carpenter said.
The site (www.propertyfirst.com) went live last June. The client had worked with two smaller agencies before deciding it needed a full-service shop.
