CALIFORNIA

Creative-design and production company Twothousandstrong in Venice added Julia Lennon as head of sales and new business development. Lennon, 32, most recently was a product manager at Page & Moy Travel, a U.K.-based company that provides package vacations, where she directed user interface and content for four consumer Web sites and developed co-branding sponsorship strategies.

Investor's Business Daily promoted Tom Matthews to Southwest regional manager. Matthews joined IBD in Los Angeles two years ago as an account manager. He will oversee a territory that includes Southern California, Las Vegas, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Detroit.

Tristan McManaman rose to senior vice president, group media director at Deutsch's Marina del Rey office. McManaman, 33, previously was vice president, group media director. He joined Deutsch six years ago and works on DirecTV, Expedia and J.D. Edwards. McManaman reports to Colleen Kelly, partner, director of media planning.



FLORIDA

Starmark International elevated Brandon Hawthorne to vice president of business-to-business markets. He will work on accounts such as First Fleet Corp., TIVA Healthcare and Lawson Industries. Hawthorne joined the Fort Lauderdale shop in 2002 as director of b-to-b markets. Previously, he was co-owner of Hawthorne/House, a marketing and advertising agency, also in Fort Lauderdale. There, he provided consulting services for clients such as Marriott, Pet Supermarket and Perfumania.



GEORGIA

BBDO in Atlanta hired three staffers. Stephen Weinstein was named management supervisor. Prior to joining BBDO, he worked at J. Walter Thompson, also in Atlanta. Natalie Jamison, formerly with Jack Morton Worldwide, and Gonca Sanal, previously with Bennett Kuhn Varner, both in Atlanta, were hired as account executives.



ILLINOIS

Jim Stallman and MaryBeth Leisen rose to vice president posts, and Sean O'Reilly and Lisi Davis progressed to account director posts at LB Works, a unit of Leo Burnett in Chicago.



MICHIGAN

Doner in Detroit promoted Bonnie Davis to vice president, associate media director. In this position, she will oversee national and regional media planning for Mazda's North American operations in the agency's Newport Beach, Calif., office. Since joining Doner in 1997, Davis has worked on the Mazda account, first as media buying supervisor, then as associate media director. Prior to joining Doner, Davis worked in radio sales at InterRep and Banner and as a media buyer at Campbell Mithun Esty and Campbell-Ewald.



MISSOURI

In St. Louis, Drone & Mueller Interactive installed Michelle Orr as senior Web designer. Orr will lead the Web design team in creating business-to-business and corporate Internet sites for a variety of clients.



NEW JERSEY

Princeton Partners hired Ken Gleason, 36, as executive creative director. Gleason will create campaigns for the Princeton company, whose services include brand development, advertising, direct and interactive marketing, and public relations. Prior to Princeton Partners, Gleason worked at Brandimation and in the creative departments of agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, Grey, Doremus and Publicis/Bloom. During his career, Gleason has worked for clients that include BMW, Kodak, Toys "R" Us and Northwest Airlines.



NEW MEXICO

McKee Wallwork Henderson promoted copywriter Karen McKinley to associate creative director. Since joining the Albuquerque-based agency in 2000, McKinley has helped create advertising for the New Mexico Department of Health, Shoes on a Shoestring, MAC Equipment and Polar.



NEW YORK

EastWest Creative in New York named Cliff Medney director of concept development and Amy McPoland account director. Medney will develop strategies and concepts for EastWest's children's-marketing initiatives and support West Coast clients. Previously, he served as senior vice president of strategy and creative at Media Designs and founded Cliff Medney Enterprises, a concept-development and mar- keting company. McPoland will be responsible for the Kraft brand assignments, as well as the agency's kids, sports and packaging initiatives. Prior to joining EastWest, she was director of brand marketing at MaMaMedia and senior product manager of marketing at Mattel Media, the online division of Mattel.

TheStreet.com in New York promoted Robert Verrico, 45, to executive vice president, sales and general manager, consumer markets, after he served as senior vice president, advertising sales since 2002. In his new post, he will oversee the company's advertising, subscription-products, digital marketing and commerce, content-syndication and business-development divisions. Before joining TheStreet.com, Verrico worked at iVillage and Reed Elsevier Business Information. He began his career in electronic sales in 1984 when he launched Wizcom, a division of Avis Rental Systems.



PENNSYLVANIA

Dudnyk Advertising and Public Relations in Horsham appointed Jack Powers Jr., 49, president and Gary Gatyas Jr., 38, vice president and director of the public relations group. Powers' responsibilities will include overall agency leadership, new business, financial management and serving on the executive committee of CommCor, Dudnyk's parent company. He has held positions with agencies such as McCann-Erickson, Young & Rubicam, BBDO, Earle Palmer Brown and Arnold. Gatyas will oversee client relations, strategy development and staff development, as well as serve on CommCor's senior-management committee. Prior to joining Dudnyk, Gatyas was managing supervisor at Gibbs & Soell Public Relations in New York and public affairs manager for the Clinton, N.J., telecommunications division of Sprint.



TEXAS

Anderson Marketing Group hired Marianne Kocal as senior account executive. Prior to joining the San Antonio shop, Kocal was vice president of retail at Meyocks & Priebe in Des Moines, Iowa. Anderson also installed Nathan Turnage as a production artist. Turnage formerly worked as a Photoshop production artist at Vertis in Austin. In addition, the agency added Analiese Tomlin and Lynn Blackburn as media planner/buyer and account supervisor, respectively.

Tracy Locke Partnership promoted partner Elwanda Edwards to general manager of its Dallas office. In the new post, she will be responsible for all operations in Dallas. Prior to her promotion, Edwards managed TLP subsidiary The Launch Point, whose clients include Hasbro, KFC, Pepsi-Cola and Pizza Hut.
