LOS ANGELES Omnicom’s BBDO West has won creative and strategic duties for ProFlowers after a competitive review with undisclosed contenders, the client confirmed.

It is the first win for BBDO West since the departure of former president and CEO Tom Hollerbach and a restructuring in which Peter Sherman arrived from New York to run the shop as a managing director [Adweek Online, Aug. 12]. The agency, with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, acknowledges that the account was in review before the management changes.
