After a lengthy on-and-off relationship with Baltimore’s Freed & Associates, the Maryland subfranchisor of Precision Tune Auto Care is reviewing its ad account. The 1998 budget is about $800,000.
Gary Marsiglia, vice president of Precision Franchises in Baltimore, said the co-op has narrowed its search to four agencies. He declined to name the contenders, but said three are local shops while the fourth is based in the Washington, D.C., area. The client split with Freed in January.
Precision Franchises is made up of 13 franchisees representing 18 Precision Tune Auto Care centers throughout Maryland, excepting three counties near Washington, D.C.
