ATLANTA The Campbell Group Public Relations said it has been tapped by the Preakness Celebration organization to handle its public relations efforts.

The Baltimore shop, the public relations division of The Campbell Group, said it would develop public relations and interactive initiatives for the local client. TCG has handled Preakness’ advertising and corporate image work for the past two years.

“Having been involved with Preakness Celebration for years and successfully rebranding the festival, it seemed like an obvious extension to lead the public relations as well,” said Brian Hall, agency partner and account director.
