BOSTON John Howard has launched Strategic Technology & Business Communica
tions PR.

The Ashland, Mass., shop will, as its name implies, focus on clients in the high-tech sector. Howard’s pitch will be similar to that of many startups: The agency is small enough to offer personal attention. The venture opens its doors with Howard and three other employees.

Initial clients include High Tech Business Decisions in Moraga, Calif., and Market Ascent of Columbus, Ohio.

Howard launched the shop after four years as a senior vice president at Omnicom Group’s Porter Novelli, Boston.
