CHICAGO Doug Porter, Leo Burnett’s worldwide account director for McDonald’s, is leaving the agency to join the client’s charitable organization, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the agency confirmed.

Porter, who has been with Burnett since 1985, is one of whom the agency deemed “the four horsemen,” top executives at the shop. His last day at the Chicago shop will be Aug. 2, he said. Porter, who has been president of the board of the RMHC in Chicago, is taking the opportunity to be more involved with the charity.
