NEW YORK--Pop group 'NSNYC headlines a new online promotion aimed at teen girls for Polaroid i-Zone cameras.
The cornerstone of the effort is an i-Zone micro-site (http://www.i-zonefantasy.com/), where through Sept. 15 fans can enter to win a private photo session with Justin, J.C., Lance, Chris and Joey. The winner's photos, taken using an i-Zone camera, will be posted on the micro-site and NSYNC.com.
The sweepstakes, which will be promoted via viral marketing and 'NSYNC's 1.2-million-subscriber e-mail newsletter, was conceived by digital i-shop Starcom IP in Chicago. MusicVision, a New York-based music-marketing firm, designed, built and will host the micro-site and secured the recording artists as the grand prize.
In addition, visitors to the site can participate in an online scavenger hunt that takes them to partner Web sites, including Gurl.com, Katrillion.com, MTV.com and Seventeen.com, to find letters that spell out the word "i-Zone." Contestants will be sent personalized e-mails updating them on their status in completing the game.
Five first prize winners will receive autographed merchandise from 'NSYNC, including an i-Zone camera, and 40 runner-up prize winners will receive the group's "Making of the Tour" video.
