SAN FRANCISCO -- James Lavelle has joined Point Roll as director of sales from competitor, Enliven.
Reporting to Point Roll CEO Jules Gardner, Lavelle will work to expand the Philadelphia-based company's presence in New England. He will be responsible for introducing Point Roll's mouseover ad technology to companies, as well as for signing on new clients and agencies.
"[Lavelle] brings a strong sales background, extensive online industry knowledge and proven leadership to his new role," Gardner said, adding, "while working at our competitor, Enliven, [Lavelle] successfully negotiated contracts with major agencies and publishers and was responsible for closing large corporate deals."
Point Roll currently services clients such as Nissan, Microsoft, Ralston Purina, Adidas, Datek and Visa. The two-year-old advertising technology company is privately held.
