BOSTON Tech-focused agency PJA said it has launched a media planning group and appointed Isabelle Kane to head up the new team.

Kane was most recently a partner with Fulgent Media Group in Boston. Prior to Fulgent, she was a vice president at Pro Media in Natick, Mass., where she helped establish that agency's business-to-business practice.

PJA is currently working with several of its clients to provide media services, including Novell, Boston Scientific, Akamai, Progress Software, MRO, Cambridge Trust and Informs.

Agency partner Mike O'Toole said of Kane, "Bringing her group aboard officially will help us provide the tight integration of media, marketing and creative activities our clients expect."

An independently owned agency based in Cambridge, Mass., PJA also operates an office in San Francisco and claims $45 million in overall billings.
