BOSTON Pile and Co. has introduced the Performance Evaluator, a Web-based system that leverages the management consultancy's extensive experience helping clients and agencies establish effective relationships.
"Industry data reveals that most client-agency relationships only last three years. We believe they should last a lot longer," said Judy Neer, evp and managing partner at the Boston-based company. "We decided that in order to really help both clients and agencies stay on the same page we needed to push our evaluation capability to an even higher level of sophistication and strategic value. The Performance Evaluator does that."
The product is a two-way, metric-based system that clients and agencies can use to conduct bi-annual reviews of all facets of their relationships. The Base Performance Evaluator, with facilitation by Pile consultants, allows for a rigorous assessment of overall goals and creative quality, as well as production efficiencies and financial management. The process allows both the agency and the client to constructively critique each other.
In addition to the Base Performance Evaluator, Pile also offers Media Evaluator, which examines the efficiencies and efficacy of the media planning and buying relationship, and the Financial Evaluator, designed to ensure that the financial components are analyzed annually.
