LOS ANGELES WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson has won the Phoenix Technologies account and picked up a project from Mammoth Mountain, the agency said.

The Los Angeles shop was selected to handle the creative portion of the $3-5 million Phoenix Technologies account without a review. Media buying is currently handled in-house.

The San Jose, Calif.-client, which provides device-enabling and management software products for PCs and other user-driven connected digital devices, previously worked with agencies on a project basis, said Phoenix Technolgies representative Ann Nash.
