NEW YORK The PGA of America this week launches a print and TV campaign touting the more than half-million jobs available in the golf industry in the areas of accounting, marketing, merchandising, management and food and beverage.

The effort, via R.J. Gibson in Jupiter, Fla., incorporates a new animated golfer icon into the $400,000 pitch for the PGA Employment Center.

Three 30-second TV executions will air on The Golf Channel and Turner Networks. Three print ads run in PGA Magazine, Golfweek, Golf Business, African American Golfer’s Digest, BoardRoom and Club Director.
