Pepsi last week agreed to donate at least $3 million over three years to charities benefiting the hip-hop community. It made the offer to avert a boycott of Pepsi products led by urban-music mogul Russell Simmons. The boycott was threatened because Pepsi had pulled ads with rapper Ludacris but employed similarly foul-mouthed Ozzy Osbourne for a Pepsi Twist spot.
