ARIZONAResults Media Group, a full-service media buying agency in Phoenix, appointed Amy Alexander broadcast supervisor. In her new position, Alexander will take the lead in overseeing broadcast buying and planning for the agency. She was pro moted from senior media planner/buyer. Before arriving at RMG, Alexander worked with Davis Ball & Colombatto Advertising in Phoenix. HAWAIIStarr Seigle Advertising, Honolulu, promoted Noelle Baker to senior vice president, management supervisor. Baker previously served as volunteer campaign marketing chair for the Aloha United Way and has also worked as a vice president at The Schiller Group. Starr Seigle also added two new staffers. Deena Yoshimoto was named director of human resources, and Laurie Schlegel is the agency's new office manager. Starr Seigle Advertising is a division of Starr Seigle Communications. OREGONPortland-based Hallock Modey, an advertising and public relations firm, tapped Autumn Stensen and Kathryn Wright to fill two spots on its graphic design team. Prior to joining Hallock Modey, Stensen served as production manager on the Microsoft account at The Leonhardt Group. She has also worked for Seattle Magazine and Canoe & Kayak Magazine. Wright has been a graphic designer for a dozen years, previously working at The Game Keeper and Intrascapes Ltd. Robley Marketing in Portland hired Paul Mitchell as a copywriter. The move is a return to Oregon for Mitchell, who worked at Wieden + Kennedy before moving to California, where he spent time at J. Walter Thompson, Lowe Lintas & Partners, and Grey. Cole & Weber/Red Cell's Portland office has hired two copywriters, Joel Bloom and Aaron Robnett. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIAColumbia Tristar Motion Picture Group in Culver City named Tommy Gargotta senior vice president, creative advertising. Gargotta, whose movie ad campaign credits include Men In Black, Charlie's Angels and Big Daddy, has worked with CTMPG in the past. In his new post, Gargotta will report to Josh Goldstine, svp of marketing, and will contribute to the upcoming creative campaigns for Men in Black 2 and Panic Room. Bug Music, Hollywood, promoted Eddie Gomez to the newly created post of vice president, creative services. Gomez will oversee staff in Bug's offices in New York, London, Munich, Germany, and Nashville, Tenn. Bug Music serves recording artists, placing music in films and commercials and ensuring appropriate compensation. Before joining Bug in 1993, Gomez worked at All Nations Music. Cassle Communications in San Diego hired David Riggs as an account coordinator. Riggs, who comes from Hitt Marking Devices, will handle client service, advertising placement, media contact, client budgets, public relations and executive support systems assistance. Matthews/Mark in San Diego hired two new employees and promoted two others. Dana Neibert will work as a senior art director. She will work on the Callaway and SignOnSanDiego.com accounts. Neibert comes from DGWB in Santa Ana. Kristine Smith joined the agency as an account executive on the Siemens ICM account. She previously worked at dj Orthopedics, where she was marketing communications manager. The agency also promoted Jon Dupuis to account executive and John Risser to senior copywriter. Digital interconnect firm Adlink in Los Angeles hired George Burns as managing director for its client services division. Burns' focus will include communication with clients and marketing and media opportunities. Burns previously worked at Adoutlet.com as vice president.WASHINGTONResulting from a burgeoning client base, Cole & Weber/Red Cell in Seattle has hired a dozen new employees in its interactive division. The hires include Sedora DeBondt, senior designer; Penny Gray, senior site builder; Christina Kelly, account supervisor; Patrick Brossard and Dave Rezoski, developers; and Gina Tolentino, art director. The office also hired Krissa Glasgow as a senior account executive. Weber Marketing Group in Seattle hired Jeffry Pilcher as creative director. Pilcher comes from Sharp Advertising, Las Vegas.
