Penton Media Forms an Online Leisure Partnership

Penton Media, Cleveland, has forged a partnership with LeisureHub.com in an effort to leverage its European leisure industry convention.
LeisureHub.com is an e-commerce site for the leisure industry--theme parks, family entertainment centers, carnivals, as well as pubs and health and fitness centers.
Penton owns Leisure Industry Week, described as "Europe's flagship leisure event." LeisureHub will develop the week into a year-round showcase. LIW attracts 500 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors each year; LeisureHub claims thousands of page views each month.
Penton was joined by Banc Boston in a second round of investment for LeisureHub, the total is estimated at $6 million.
