BOSTON Partners + Simons said it has been hired as lead agency by the Holmes Group to promote the client’s well-known Crock-Pot brand cookers and other products.

In addition to a Crock-Pot campaign, P+S, an independent agency here, will help relaunch Holmes’ Seal-a-Meal line of vacuum-sealed containers.

Milford, Mass.-based Holmes spent about $3 million on ads last year, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

“We believe there is a strong potential for growth in this category,” said Larry Kahn, marketing manager for the Seal-a-Meal brand.
