DDB Needham, Los Angeles, president Dave Park will receive the Advertising Club of Los Angeles’ highest honor for an individual -the Silver Medal-at a May 6 awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Silver Medal is an American Advertising Federation award presented by the ACLA to those who have made outstanding contributions to the industry while furthering its standards, creative excellence and involvement with social concerns.
“Dave has given freely of his time and deserves to be commended for his leadership and contributions to Los Angeles advertising and the community at large,” said Jerry McGee, executive managing director of Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles, and ACLA co-president.
A 30-year industry veteran who joined DDB Needham in 1988, Park (shown here) has served on the boards of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the American Advertising Federation, the Western States Advertising Agencies Association and the ACLA.
