Paradise Picks Up Bermuda Int'l. Airport

ATLANTA Paradise Advertising and Marketing recently added Bermuda International Airport to its client roster, according to the shop.

The independent St. Petersburg, Fla., agency said it was chosen without a formal review to develop advertising that will promote the airport's routes and airlines. James G. Howes, general manager of Bermuda International Airport, said that Paradise was selected because of its previous work for clients such as the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.

"As the former executive director for the St. Petersburg Airport, I know first-hand Paradise's ability to market airports," added Howes. "Our passenger volume increased tenfold as a result of their advertising."

Paradise said it has started work to promote the airport's flights to and from U.S. cities such as Baltimore, Chicago, New York and Orlando, Fla. The shop also is developing print ads that will run in international trade magazines in Athens, Greece; Madrid, Spain; and London.

Annual billings were not disclosed.
