No. 4 pizza chain Papa John’s takes another shot at Pizza Hut this week with a television commercial backed by $6 million in media spending.
Papa John’s agen-cy of record, Fricks/Firestone here, created the spot, which is a direct response to a challenge issued by Pizza Hut on its take-out boxes. The ad debuts today on network and spot market TV.
The 30-second television commercial shows a Pizza Hut box top challenging consumers with the phrase, “We dare you to find a better pizza.”
