Palm Inc., manufacturer of the best-known brand of handheld computing devices, tapped Citron Haligman Bedecarrƒ to handle its national advertising. The account is worth a reported $70 million.
“It’s huge,” said Kirk Citron, president of the San Francisco agency. “They will be our largest account. This is a great, great opportunity, and we are excited to be part of it. This could be our biggest win ever.”
Citron said the company was wooed in part by the agency’s knowledge and experience with Internet and computer clients.
