NEW YORK While more than half of all Americans will watch the Super Bowl XXXVII telecast, two out of five viewers will tune in for the commercials rather than the game, according to a recent online survey from Insight Express.

A poll of 500 Americans confirmed what many have long suspected—commercials are as much a part of the experience as the game itself. Three out of five respondents said they pay closer attention to Super Bowl spots than they do everyday ads, and 20 percent pay more attention to the commercials than the game.
