NEW YORK–If the Office of National Drug Control Policy has its way, all anti-drug efforts will carry a consistent strategy and tagline. The government agency is trying to persuade the Partnership for a Drug Free America to adopt the message and tagline of the recent Ogilvy & Mather “Communication. The anti-drug” campaign.
That plan has some agencies that work with the PDFA concerned about creative control. “Part of the reason so many of us spend so much time and energy on this cause is because of the creative freedom,” said one creative director.
