NEW YORK Omnicom Group’s net income increased 7 percent to $135.3 million in the third quarter, up from $126 million in the same quarter a year ago, the holding company said on Tuesday.

Worldwide revenue improved 15 percent to about $2.03 billion compared with the year-ago period, Omnicom said.

Omnicom shares closed on Monday at $73.33 on the New York Stock Exchange. The 52-week high was $81.18; the 52-week low was $46.50.
