LOS ANGELES -- Omnicom's OMD, New York, won the $175 million Hershey Foods Corp. media buying business, sources said.

OMD, an incumbent agency on the account, competed in the final round with fellow incumbent WPP Group's MindShare, New York, and Interpublic Group of Cos.' Initiative Media North America, New York.

Planning remains split between Hershey creative agencies DDB and Ogilvy & Mather, both New York.
