Sears, Roebuck and Co. is taking a tougher approach in its new advertising campaign for the Craftsman Racing Series.
Two 30-second TV spots from Sears’ roster shop Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago, break Feb. 17 and will continue to air through November on ESPN and CBS.
Both spots point out Craftsman hand tools, while available to the home auto-repair enthusiast, are also used by auto racing professionals.
“Hand Off” shows a series of car mechanics in a NASCAR pit working with the Sears brand tools.
