But Kansas City, Kan., Mayor Carol Marinovich isn’t standing on ceremony.
Marinovich is currently appearing in a TV spot for the Heart of America Oldsmobile Dealers Association talking about how much she likes her Intrigue sedan, which was built in her hometown.
In the 30-second spot, developed by local agency Roberts & Russell, Marinovich recounts how much confidence the car’s traction control gave her during a recent snowstorm.
