CHICAGO Ohio uses homegrown celebrities to sell the state in its latest round of advertising from Fahlgren.

The independent Columbus agency, which won the account last September, uses radio voiceovers from actress Patricia Heaton (Cleveland), pop star Nick Lachey (Cincinnati) and Ohio State University football coach Jim Tressel to boost the state’s tourism offerings.

In addition to the radio component, the agency created print and television spots that showcase four areas of interest: outdoors, family travel, history and the urban experience.
