Albert Tortorella has joined Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as managing director and head of the global corporate practice. Tortorella comes to the New York firm after spending more than 20 years at Burson-Marsteller, where he held various executive positions, including vice chairman, corporate executive office. He has represented clients such as Tylenol, American Airlines, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Kraft, General Electric and General Motors. In his new position, Tortorella will oversee business development, client service and brand visibility for Ogilvy PR regionally and will report to Marcia Silverman, worldwide CEO, and Matthew Anderson, the firm’s regional chief executive for Asia-Pacific and Europe-Africa-Middle East.
